Julio Ospina

Julio was born in Cali, Colombia and now resides in British Columbia, Canada. He and his wife were sealed in the Toronto Ontario Temple and are the proud parents of three smart and amazing children. After sharing his own powerful Come Back story on the podcast, Julio will serve as the host of Come Back Podcast – Spanish beginning in 2026, helping bring stories of faith, redemption, and hope to Spanish-speaking audiences around the world. As a young man, Julio struggled to reconcile being gay while remaining active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After living an alternative lifestyle, he ultimately turned to Christ and experienced a deep change of heart. “Jesus’s first miracle was to transform water into wine… He can transform things, He can transform people. I feel like that’s what He’s done with my life.” Julio’s journey is not defined by labels, but by humility, growth, and a love for the restored gospel and eternal families.
