From tragedy to testimony, Melissa’s story of grief, faith, and Jesus Christ’s healing

“We didn’t get that miracle that we really desperately pleaded for, but I feel like I have a stronger testimony of miracles than I ever have, even though it wasn’t the one that I wanted. I don’t know the answers of why she didn’t get to live the rest of her life and why she isn’t here with us and why am I still here? It’s like such a strange, backward feeling that you have a child that’s no longer here and then I feel like she is–this is still her story, because she’s impacting people as well and she’s still a part of it. It’s still her story. And so that really motivates me to share the gospel and to share our experience.”

Your experience matters—whether it’s still unfolding or long behind you. The Come Back Podcast exists because real people are willing to share real journeys. If you’ve stepped away from faith, wrestled with doubt, or found your way back in a way that doesn’t fit a simple narrative, we’d love to hear from you.
