Jenae Didn’t Know Her Father on Earth or in Heaven…Until One Day Both Came Looking for Her

“ Everything that we go through in life, all of it, is part of our education, and more than that, it’s part of our ministry. It’s our ability to help, love, and care for other people. I feel like it has been an honor and a privilege to have lived my life, even though it has been incredibly hard. I want other people to know that the Lord lives and loves them, even if it doesn’t look like He does.” 00:00 Losing Trust in God 06:12 Parents Backstory and Fallout 16:50 Childhood Instability and Poverty 38:45 Father Wounds 44:30 All In Conversion 47:10 Utah Transition And Staying Strong 49:14 Healing Trauma With Therapy 01:07:10 Worth Advice Serve Clothing code COMEBACK for 15% off https://serveclothing.com/ If you have a story to share please submit here: https://comebackpodcast.org/submissions/ For inquiries contact info.comebackpodcast@gmail.com Come Back Team: Director, Founder, & Host: Ashly Stone Editor: Cara Reed Outreach Manager: Jenna Carlson Assistant Editor: Britt Smallze Art Director: Jeremy Garcia Production Director: Trent Wardwell

“You’re going to die tonight” – how God and Angels saved Whitney and led her back to Jesus Christ

“It doesn’t matter where you are on the path, it just matters which direction you’re facing. I honestly wish I could say that my life is perfect, and since I’ve gone back to the temple everything has just fallen into place for me. There are times when I kill my sense of joy by comparing myself to other people, but I have to remind myself that it’s okay where I’m at. And just like in the creation on the second day, the third day, it is still good. We are still good, and God still sees us as good. Even when we’re just messes.”   00:00 A Terrifying Encounter 05:15 Marriage and Motherhood 09:06 Dating Challenges and Disillusionment 26:23 Struggles with Faith and Sobriety 34:35 A Miraculous Answer 39:52 Pursuing Higher Education 44:23 Returning to the Temple 49:58 Finding Peace and Purpose   Memor Jewelry code COMEBACK for 10% offhttps://memorjewelry.com/Serve Clothing code COMEBACK for 15% offhttps://serveclothing.com/If you have a story to share please fill out the form: https://form.jotform.com/233109071625046For inquiries contact info.comebackpodcast@gmail.comCome Back Team:Director, Founder, & Host: Ashly StoneEditor: Cara ReedOutreach Manager: Jenna CarlsonAssistant Editor: Michelle BergerAssistant Editor: Britt SmallzeArt Director: Jeremy GarciaProduction Director: Trent Wardwell

Holly’s story of addiction, kids out of wedlock, a husband stealing…..and back to her Savior again

“I went home and I was like, I need to change. Like I need to change! I knew it was gonna be hard. I had to change everything. So I’m like, okay, I’m gonna go to church every Sunday. That is what I’m gonna start with. I don’t care if I listen. I don’t care if I wanna be there, but I’m starting with that because that’s something I can do. I’ll go to church every Sunday. I started with that.”   Come Back Team Director, Founder & Host: Ashly Stone Outreach Manager: Jenna Carlson Editor: Cara Reed Assistant Editor: Michelle Berger Art Director: Jeremy Garcia Episode sponsor: Serve Clothing https://serveclothing.com/?gad_source=1

Nia was single and pregnant in the Church. How her struggles brought her closer to Jesus Christ.

“Don’t put blame on anyone else. If you’ve done things that are wrong, fix them. If things have been done to you that are wrong, forgive them. Which is so hard to do, depending on the situation. I’ve had to do that with people in my past. it’s the most liberating thing that you can do to let go of that hate and let go of blaming them. Because you can blame them all you want, but it’s not going to allow you to progress. And so be honest with yourself. Be honest with what you need to change and take back your power. You have all the power in the world. God has given you this free agency. You can do whatever you want with it. Why not do something amazing that brings you so much joy and happiness? And it’s so liberating to let go of what everyone thinks about you. It’s so liberating. I literally do whatever the heck I want, which happens to be living the gospel. And living the gospel and living the standards of the gospel has made me the most free person I’ve ever been in my life.”     https://mikesautoshack.com/   Come Back Team: Director, Founder & Host: Ashly Stone Producer: Lauren Rose Outreach Manager: Jenna Carlson Editor: Cara Reed Assistant Editor: Michelle Berger Art Director: Jeremy Garcia   Episode sponsor: Serve Clothing https://serveclothing.com/?gad_source=1

Dana was excommunicated for a teen pregnancy – but that didn’t stop her from following the Savior.

“If you were to ask me to translate an ancient document and to organize the people and a whole religion — I would never want that kind of authority thrust on me. I know I would misuse it, I absolutely would. So this process has really brought me to this place of grace for those who have come before in the gospel. And also, these things that I get so frustrated about or that I don’t understand, they’re not mine to understand right now and it’s okay because it’s temporary. The reality is that Christ is our savior and the gospel is real. And when we turn to Him, the peace that is there, and the love, and the understanding surpasses everything else. There is no substitute.”     Come Back Team: Director, Founder & Host: Ashly Stone Producer and Senior Editor: Lauren Rose Outreach Manager: Jenna Carlson Editor: Cara Reed Assistant Editor: Michelle Berger Art Director: Jeremy Garcia   Episode sponsor: Serve Clothing https://serveclothing.com/?gad_source=1

Missy lived a tumultuous life of addiction until she turned her life over to God and returned to her faith.

“I have felt the Atonement take a burden off of my shoulders and literally remove it. It is a weight I didn’t even realize I had been carrying. It was a freedom and a light in my life that I had lived so long without. When you have a moment or experience like that and when you walk in darkness and then come into the light, there is no going back.” Come Back Team: Director, Founder & Host: Ashly Stone Producer and Senior Editor: Lauren Rose Outreach Manager: Jenna Carlson Editor: Michelle Berger Art Director: Jeremy Garcia
