David Believed Christ Could Save Everyone but Himself

“That just fills my heart with such love for Jesus Christ, that He would do that, that He would descend below me. I mean, it kind of scares me that He had to go through that much, but I just am so thankful for Him and what He has done for me. I just truly have had a change of heart.” – Serve Clothing code COMEBACK for 15% off https://serveclothing.com/ – If you have a story to share please submit here: https://comebackpodcast.org/submissions/ – For inquiries contact info.comebackpodcast@gmail.com – Come Back Team: Director, Founder, & Host: Ashly Stone Editor: Cara Reed Outreach Manager: Jenna Carlson Assistant Editor: Britt Smallze Art Director: Jeremy Garcia Production Director: Trent Wardwell
Abuse and exposure to explicit content as a child…how Jesus healed DeLaynie and restored her faith

“ Lean into the God that you know, I will give you comfort, I will give you peace. So that’s truly what I’ve learned through all my experiences. You know, in my deepest valleys where I was extremely fearful and guilt ridden, that I was so far gone, so far broken. Nobody would ever relate to me or understand me. I was completely cutting myself off from the one who understands this perfectly. Our Savior has felt everything that we’ve felt. Yeah, I will agree with people that, well, you don’t understand how I’m feeling. I don’t, I’ve never been through what you’ve been through, but your Savior does.” Cozy Earth code COMEBACK for 40% off https://cozyearth.com/ Memor Jewelry code COMEBACK for 10% offhttps://memorjewelry.com/ Serve Clothing code COMEBACK for 15% offhttps://serveclothing.com/ If you have a story to share please contact ashly.comebackpodcast@gmail.com For inquiries contact info.comebackpodcast@gmail.com Come Back Team: Director, Founder, & Host: Ashly Stone Editor: Cara Reed Outreach Manager: Jenna Carlson Assistant Editor: Michelle Berger Assistant Editor: Britt Smallze Art Director: Jeremy Garcia Production Director: Trent Wardwell
Dallin’s teen years were filled with addiction, now his story brings hope to parents everywhere

“I find so much incredible joy in serving the temple. And in this position, it has been mind blowing to me just the amount of testimony I’ve gained. And seeing people in their hard situations and now understanding that everybody’s situation’s hard. We don’t see it ’cause they all hide it. Right? And we just need to let God in. We need to let Him approach us. And we all need to be that for somebody else. We need to be the means of letting them see God’s love, and acting on it.” 00:00 The Devil Wants Me 08:31 Struggles with Pornography and Early Challenges 13:08 School Controversy and Social Isolation 17:12 Rebellious Teenage Years 26:17 Turning Point: Seeking Repentance 32:31 Life-Changing Spiritual Experiences 36:12 Overcoming Temptations and Challenges 40:35 Final Reflections and Gratitude Cozy Earth code COMEBACK for 40% off https://cozyearth.com/Memor Jewelry code COMEBACK for 10% offhttps://memorjewelry.com/Serve Clothing code COMEBACK for 15% offhttps://serveclothing.com/If you have a story to share please contact ashly.comebackpodcast@gmail.comFor inquiries contact info.comebackpodcast@gmail.comCome Back Team:Director, Founder, & Host: Ashly StoneEditor: Cara ReedOutreach Manager: Jenna CarlsonAssistant Editor: Michelle BergerAssistant Editor: Britt SmallzeArt Director: Jeremy GarciaProduction Director: Trent Wardwell

“When we are willing to submit to our Heavenly Father, he can do more with our life than we could ever want and hope to do. Sarah and I have a beautiful one-year-old tomorrow. It’s been so fun and so hard, but it’s so much more than what I ever could have made of with my life. And it’s because of the Atonement and it’s because of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father and their infinite love for all of us.” Cozy Earth code COMEBACK for 40% off https://cozyearth.com/ Memor Jewelry code COMEBACK for 10% offhttps://memorjewelry.com/Serve Clothing code COMEBACK for 15% offhttps://serveclothing.com/ If you have a story to share please contact ashly.comebackpodcast@gmail.comFor inquiries contact info.comebackpodcast@gmail.comCome Back Team:Director, Founder, & Host: Ashly StoneEditor: Cara ReedOutreach Manager: Jenna CarlsonAssistant Editor: Michelle BergerAssistant Editor: Britt SmallzeArt Director: Jeremy GarciaProduction Director: Trent Wardwell
Porn & sex addiction led to betrayal & excommunication, until Steven finally found hope in recovery

“I got some relief from the incredible fear and pain and darkness that was surrounding me when I made the decision to get honest. That was a profound experience. There’s a great scripture that I actually experienced in that event, it was Alma 34:31-Yea, I would that ye would come forth and harden not your hearts any longer; for behold, now is the time and the day of your salvation; and therefore, if ye will repent and harden not your hearts, immediately will the great plan of redemption be brought about unto you. That scripture I found later in my repentance process spoke to me because I had experienced what happened when I had a change of heart. From fear of coming forward and being honest, to I will get honest. I will do whatever is required. I could lose my marriage, lose my church membership, lose my family, lose my job. All of those things were possibilities. But yet I realized that I didn’t have any alternative except to get honest. And when I chose to do that, that was a changing experience for my life.” Home https://SAL12step.org Betrayal trauma book written by Rhyll Anne Croshaw: “What Can I Do About Me?” 00:00 Life-Changing Event 03:46 Mission in New Zealand 04:28 Addressing Sexual Addiction 09:10 Personal Recovery Journey 14:57 Rhyll’s Perspective 17:00 Second and Third Disclosures 34:27 Understanding Betrayal and Addiction 44:05 The Importance of Parental Involvement 48:29 Steven’s Excommunication and Re-baptism 01:02:01 The Power of True Doctrine Cozy Earth code COMEBACK for 40% off https://cozyearth.com/ Mike’s Auto Shack https://mikesautoshack.com/ Serve Clothing code COMEBACK for 15% off https://serveclothing.com/ Memor Jewelry code COMEBACK for 10% off https://memorjewelry.com/ If you have a story to share please contact ashly.comebackpodcast@gmail.com For inquiries contact info.comebackpodcast@gmail.com Come Back Team: Director, Founder, & Host: Ashly Stone Editor: Cara Reed Outreach Manager: Jenna Carlson Assistant Editor: Michelle Berger Assistant Editor: Britt Smallze Art Director: Jeremy Garcia Production Director: Trent Wardwell
Chef Tyson’s journey from addiction and chaos to healing and redemption through the grace of Jesus

“And I think that’s why it took me 20 years to come back to the church is because it was never enough. Fear was not enough to get me to come back to the church. Shame was not enough to get me to come back to the church. Honestly, it was love. Love brought me back to the church. So, you know, I’ve got too much proof. I’m still in the culinary world, there’s still temptation, still surrounded by all the same stuff. But I pray every night. I do all the things right? I read my scriptures. I go to church. I take the sacrament. Those things that we teach the little kids in Primary, do it. That stuff’s real.” 00:00 Betrayal 02:08 Introducing Tyson 07:00 Struggles with Shame and Addiction 23:58 Life in the Culinary World 27:40 Battling Inadequacy and Addiction 40:08 Infidelity and Divine Intervention 44:20 Returning Home and Finding Faith 50:23 Overcoming Temptations 53:37 Final Reflections and Gratitude September 5th & 6th COME BACK TO CHRIST EVENT Tickets can be purchased at https://www.comebackpodcast.org/come-back-to-christ-event-september-5-6-utah-valley-convention-center-provo-ut-3/ Come Back to Christ Event Sponsors: Home Home https://www.latterdaymatchmaker.comhttps://www.matthewbraidleypianos.com Home Cozy Earth code COMEBACK for 40% off https://cozyearth.com/ Serve Clothing code COMEBACK for 15% off https://serveclothing.com/ If you have a story to share please contact ashly.comebackpodcast@gmail.com For business inquiries contact info.comebackpodcast@gmail.com Come Back Team: Director, Founder, & Host: Ashly Stone Editor: Cara Reed Outreach Manager: Jenna Carlson Assistant Editor: Michelle Berger Assistant Editor: Britt Smallze Art Director: Jeremy Garcia Production Director: Trent Wardwell
No father at home and battling addiction, Will finds his true identity through his Father in Heaven

“ I wish I had this knowledge at the age of 12 or even 8 when I was baptized. And I know it was probably preached to me, but I wish I would’ve grasped it. But I wish I knew who I was before. I wish I knew that I was truly a son of God. You can figure out who you are by gaining a relationship with your Father in Heaven. It’s real. It’s almost tangible. There’s times where I say prayers and I feel the spirit so strongly that I’m speechless, you know? I think if we really try to get close to Heavenly Father, He’s not going to hold back.” — Brothaz in the Foyer YouTube podcast: https://m.youtube.com/@brothazinthefoyer — Cozy Earth code COMEBACK for 40% off https://cozyearth.com/ Serve Clothing code COMEBACK for 15% offhttps://serveclothing.com/ 00:00 Struggles with Church and Addiction 06:12 Will’s Early Childhood and Family Background 07:43 Impact of Missionaries and Church Activities 19:23 Realization and Return to Faith 35:31 A Pivotal Bishop Interview 45:41 Mission Challenges and Growth 56:09 Advice for Those Who Feel They Don’t Belong 01:01:02 Closing Thoughts and Gratitude If you have a story to share please contact ashly.comebackpodcast@gmail.com For business inquiries contact info.comebackpodcast@gmail.com Come Back Team: Director, Founder, & Host: Ashly Stone Editor: Cara Reed Outreach Manager: Jenna Carlson Assistant Editor: Michelle Berger Assistant Editor: Britt Smallze Art Director: Jeremy Garcia Production Director: Trent Wardwell
Tattooed, Tested, and Transformed: Sage’s Journey to the Temple

“It’s a little scary, you know, going to church with tattoos for the first time or having multicolored hair and going to church or dressing a certain way. But like at the end of the day, we are all children of God. He’s just happy to see us there. And even if you don’t feel like you belong, you belong because he accepts you. You belong because you belong with Christ. Not because you belong with the crowd, but because you belong with Christ.” – Sage’s instagram: ReturnwithSage – Episode Sponsor Brick House Recovery Website: https://www.comebackpodcast.org Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/come.back.podcast/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100085100628137 Twitter: https://twitter.com/Come_Back_Pod Tik Tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@come.back.podcastJoin our Book Club: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1129233501137568/ If you have a story to share please contact: ashly.comebackpodcast@gmail.com For business inquiries contact: info.comebackpodcast@gmail.com Come Back Team:Director, Founder & Host: Ashly Stone Editor: Cara Reed Outreach Manager: Jenna Carlson Assistant Editor: Michelle Berger Art Director: Jeremy Garcia Production Director: Trent Wardwell

We also don’t know the hours and hours that people have spent on their knees just praying for that moment – for that special time when that person – that brother, or that sister that maybe a mother or father or son or daughter or cousin. That moment that they’ve just been praying and praying that someday they will just walk through those doors. And as members we have this beautiful opportunity – way before they even get to those handles on those doors and they see the welcome sign right at the front of the church building – way before that day even comes that we get to choose that we’re not gonna judge them. That we are gonna be those people that say things like, ‘I cannot wait till they get to walk through those doors again. I’m gonna sit right next to them when they show up.’ And ‘it’s okay, she’ll get it figured out. Maybe she’s on the arrest page, but she’ll come around.’ It’s things like that, that we get to have that opportunity. God has given us that opportunity to be those people on his behalf. That has been one of the most beautiful things, being able to do that.” Come Back Team: Director, Founder & Host: Ashly Stone Producer and Senior Editor: Lauren Rose Outreach Manager: Jenna Carlson Editor: Michelle Berger Art Director: Jeremy Garcia Episode sponsor: Serve Clothing https://serveclothing.com/?gad_source=1
