Childhood Abuse, Infertility, and the Question that Finally Brought Dee Back to Jesus Christ

“ My life is not what I expected it to be, but it’s beautiful and it’s wonderful and it’s mine and I built it and I made it this and I’m proud of what I did and I’m proud of how I built it and I’m proud of the relationship that I have with my Heavenly Father. Everything that I went through doesn’t define who I am, but it helped me become who I am and it helped me to find the fortitude that I needed to get through it and to power through and power on.” 00:00 Infertility Heartache 05:28 Freedom and Self Destruction 09:42 Infertility Anger and Isolation 13:14 Caregiving and Breaking Point 17:08 Crisis Prayer and Strength 24:36 Overcoming Church Struggles and Triggers Purchase Come Back to Christ Event 2026 Tickets Here: www.comebackpodcast.org Serve Clothing code COMEBACK for 15% off https://serveclothing…. Fertility trials sent Allie into a dark spiral, Jesus Christ gave her a reason to believe again

“When you’re in those dark moments or dark places, it’s hard to feel God, it’s hard to find him in your story. Looking back on my whole story, I was expecting an answer of him removing this sickness from me, and it was more so Him showing up in my story. I believe in a God who works 24/7. I don’t believe in coincidences. It’s easier to look back and see His fingerprint, but ultimately He’s there with you every step of the way, whether you see it or not.”     Episode brought to you by Cozy Earth and Brickhouse Recovery Website: https://www.comebackpodcast.org Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/come.back.podcast Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100085100628137 Twitter: https://twitter.com/Come_Back_Pod Tik Tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@come.back.podcast If you have a story to share please contact: ashly.comebackpodcast@gmail.com For business inquiries contact: info.comebackpodcast@gmail.com Come Back Team: Director, Founder & Host: Ashly Stone Editor: Cara Reed Outreach Manager: Jenna Carlson Assistant Editor: Michelle Berger Assistant Editor: Britt Smallze Art Director: Jeremy Garcia Production Director: Trent Wardwell

Rajiv grew up in a troubled home, as a young adult he re-reads the Book of Mormon and realizes the gospel is where he needs to be.

“The purpose of the gospel is to restore ourselves to God. And time and time again, Christ has taught that. He’s taught that this is why He did what He did. This is the whole reason why we’re doing this, is to restore you to Me. So it’s about love. The expectations can come later. Once we restore that prodigal hug with the father on the road, once we find that coin, once we put that sheep on our back, then we can bring them back and talk about some expectations. But initially, that first meeting especially is so powerful because it has to be about love. I suggest this not to just church leaders, but also to parents. Just put your arms around them, love them. If that first meeting is an expression – or any type of an expression – of a failure of commitments or a failure of expectations, love can’t fully enter into that person’s heart. So I would say to anyone who’s scared, I hope you understand the gospel is about what you’re about to do. Go and see your bishop and know that God is proud of you and he’s already at the end of the road waiting for you.”     Come Back Team: Director, Founder & Host: Ashly Stone Producer and Senior Editor: Lauren Rose Outreach Manager: Jenna Carlson Editor: Cara Reed Assistant Editor: Michelle Berger Art Director: Jeremy Garcia   Episode sponsor: Serve Clothing https://serveclothing.com/?gad_source=1

I was standing still and allowed dark thoughts to creep in and lose faith in my Heavenly Father. But the moment I took that step I was flooded with all these blessings.” Come Back Team: Director, Founder & Host: Ashly Stone Producer and Senior Editor: Lauren Rose Outreach Manager: Jenna Carlson Editor: Michelle Berger Art Director: Jeremy Garcia
