God Kept Sending Angels to Levi While He was in Prison… Until He Finally Listened

“ I’ve come to know that Heavenly Father does know. He knows not just what we do or choose to do or the mistakes we make, He knows who we are and what we want. And He’s just waiting for us to just even look at Him or acknowledge Him. He has so much for us. He has so much for me. He’s given me so much already.” Tickets to the Come Back to Christ Event: www.comebackpodcast.org 00:00 Highway Wake Up Call 02:32 Levi Background And Home 03:21 Childhood Faith And Doubts 06:23 Early Smoking And Rebellion 11:46 Heroin And Rock Bottom 20:16 Prison Mentors And Letters 26:35 Relapse And Arrest Spiral 31:15 Church Return, Love And Marriage 46:01 Miracles And Angels Serve Clothing code COMEBACK for 15% off https://serveclothing…. From tragedy to testimony, Melissa’s story of grief, faith, and Jesus Christ’s healing

“We didn’t get that miracle that we really desperately pleaded for, but I feel like I have a stronger testimony of miracles than I ever have, even though it wasn’t the one that I wanted. I don’t know the answers of why she didn’t get to live the rest of her life and why she isn’t here with us and why am I still here? It’s like such a strange, backward feeling that you have a child that’s no longer here and then I feel like she is–this is still her story, because she’s impacting people as well and she’s still a part of it. It’s still her story. And so that really motivates me to share the gospel and to share our experience.” 00:00 A Surreal Morning 04:24 Struggles as a Teen 14:24 COVID, Faith Challenges, and Loss 24:56 Miracles, Angels, and Priesthood 26:14 Community Support and Ministering 35:24 Sharing Faith and Social Media 40:29 Grief and Finding Community September 5th & 6th COME BACK TO CHRIST EVENT Tickets can be purchased at: https://www.comebackpodcast.org/come-back-to-christ-event-september-5-6-utah-valley-convention-center-provo-ut-3/Come Back to Christ Event Sponsors: Home Home Home https://www.latterdaymatchmaker.com/ https://www.matthewbraidleypianos.com/ Home Home Cozy Earth code COMEBACK for 40% off https://cozyearth.com/ Serve Clothing code COMEBACK for 15% offhttps://serveclothing.com/ If you have a story to share please contact ashly.comebackpodcast@gmail.com For inquiries contact info.comebackpodcast@gmail.com Come Back Team:Director, Founder, & Host: Ashly Stone Editor: Cara Reed Outreach Manager: Jenna Carlson Assistant Editor: Michelle Berger Assistant Editor: Britt Smallze Art Director: Jeremy Garcia Production Director: Trent Wardwell
Van’s experience with addictions and how Christ redeemed him and got him onto a better path.

We also don’t know the hours and hours that people have spent on their knees just praying for that moment – for that special time when that person – that brother, or that sister that maybe a mother or father or son or daughter or cousin. That moment that they’ve just been praying and praying that someday they will just walk through those doors. And as members we have this beautiful opportunity – way before they even get to those handles on those doors and they see the welcome sign right at the front of the church building – way before that day even comes that we get to choose that we’re not gonna judge them. That we are gonna be those people that say things like, ‘I cannot wait till they get to walk through those doors again. I’m gonna sit right next to them when they show up.’ And ‘it’s okay, she’ll get it figured out. Maybe she’s on the arrest page, but she’ll come around.’ It’s things like that, that we get to have that opportunity. God has given us that opportunity to be those people on his behalf. That has been one of the most beautiful things, being able to do that.” Come Back Team: Director, Founder & Host: Ashly Stone Producer and Senior Editor: Lauren Rose Outreach Manager: Jenna Carlson Editor: Michelle Berger Art Director: Jeremy Garcia Episode sponsor: Serve Clothing https://serveclothing.com/?gad_source=1
A tragic ski accident left Chauncy with PTSD which left him feeling forsaken. How he used the help of his Savior to overcome.

I still haven’t had miraculous experiences, but I’ve made the choice to follow Him and it’s changed my life. I’ve done counseling. I still sometimes will do meditation – even guided meditation. And those things have helped me so much with some of my mental health struggles. But without the Savior involved in the middle of it, I would still not be who I am or where I am – with the capacity to now utilize our story and our passion for safety to go and try to change some of the culture on the ski slopes. That’s being welcomed across the industry in a really miraculous way. But none of that would happen if I didn’t come back to the roots of my Savior.” snowangelfoundation.org Come Back Team: Director, Founder & Host: Ashly Stone Producer and Senior Editor: Lauren Rose Outreach Manager: Jenna Carlson Editor: Michelle Berger Art Director: Jeremy Garcia
Growing up Emily was a wild child, as she got older she noticed a pervasive darkness in her life. Learn what happens as she gets on her knees and turns her life back over to Christ.

“I just called out to Heavenly Father and said, help. I was very aware that there were angels all around me protecting me, I knew that Heavenly Father was rescuing me. He was hearing my prayer and that black feeling immediately was replaced with warmth, and love, and total mercy. It was like, I’ve been waiting for you, I got you. And I just was totally honest with Him and I told Him everything that I needed to say. I told him ‘I’m so insecure. I don’t know how to do this. I don’t know who to be. I don’t know how to commit to being a good girl. I don’t know what that looks like. I’m attracted to all of these things that I don’t know how to reconcile.’ I just didn’t know what to do next, but I knew that I couldn’t continue in that life that I was in. I was so honest and submissive and just like, I’m gonna give this all to you and you help me figure out what to do next. And it was beautiful, it was amazing, it was the most sacred thing that’s ever happened in my life. Then I felt like I should go see a bishop.” Come Back Team: Director, Founder & Host: Ashly Stone Producer and Senior Editor: Lauren Rose Outreach Manager: Jenna Carlson Editor: Michelle Berger Art Director: Jeremy Garcia
